The Star 94 Lanier Wedding Showcase lit up Lanier Islands Resort with energy, excitement, and heartfelt moments. Guests explored our stunning lakeside venue, which was adorned specially with delicious food, vendors and live music, along with access to our fun interactive games!
The night brought couples, friends, and families together in a celebration full of joy and love. We proudly hosted the “Say I Do With a View” giveaway and watched the winning couple’s emotional reaction, reminding us why wedding contests like this truly matter.
From start to finish, the evening showcased everything that makes Lanier Islands a truly unforgettable place for a wedding celebration.
Flavors of the Evening: Dining & Drinks Highlights
We’re thrilled to say our wonderful guests wore big smiles all night as they enjoyed freshly prepared, southern-inspired dishes courtesy of Sidney’s Restaurant. While guests enjoyed their food, they were able to pair it with delicious cocktails, wine, and locally made beer.
Endless Entertainment: The Ultimate Activity Line Up
Our guests also enjoyed a night full of interactive fun, with games like musical chairs, the Newlywed Shoe Game, and danced all night to the tunes of a live DJ. To cap it all off, we had the pleasure of helping provide a special performance by the Bourbon Brothers.
And the excitement doesn’t stop there! A stay at Lanier Islands Resort opens the door to even more. If you’re in the mood to take it easy, try relaxing at the spa or enjoying a peaceful round of golf.

Live entertainment brought the event to life. Bourbon Brothers delivered smooth, soulful tunes, while Party Bound amped up the energy with crowd favorite hits.
Around the venue, a talented group of vendors added charm and character to the event’s special ambience. Poppy Flowers filled the venue with romantic blooms, and The Still Co. along with Elizabeth and Leigh showcased beautiful handcrafted pieces. September Tree Rentals and Nuage Designs Inc. helped create the inviting, sophisticated setting. Carola’s Kitchen served delicious bites, and The Charming Details tied it all together with personal touches that made the event feel special from beginning to end.

Giveaways and raffles brought an extra layer of excitement to the evening. Guests gathered with anticipation as names were called and prizes revealed. It was great to share the love with so many guests and witness the joy these special surprises brought. Our guests also got a chance to experience a few of our stunning venues such as Peachtree Pointe, Peachtree Falls, The Venetian Pier, as well as a sneak peak into our newest venue – The Chapel And Gardens. Our newest hilltop venue boasts breathtaking views of Lake Lanier, a chapel that can fit up to 130 guests, and a garden gazebo that can fit up to 200 guests.
